IRLP - What is it? IRLP (Internet Radio Linking Project) was created in 1997 by Dave Cameron VE7LTD with the aim of providing links, via the internet, between amateur radio installations. The key philosophy behind the project was and remains for it to provide these links so that amateurs with inexpensive transceivers, or license classes with low power limits, had access to a worldwide network This is a listing of U.S. Area Amateur Radio Repeaters. If you know of a repeater that is NOT on this map, please email KD0HTI@kd0hti.co
There are over 3000 IRLP nodes across 7 continents. IRLP connections are of two types: node to node, and node to reflector. Stations wishing to communicate with 3 or more nodes at the same time may accomplish this by connecting to what is called an IRLP Reflector. Reflectors are a type of conferencing system , Texas and K1BDX Craig Davidson in Chicago, Illinois This reflector uses the IRLP standard sfreflect software and is cross connected to Echolink node K5NX-L (Node Number 494629) and Allstar node 2737 Introduction. We rebooted the controller and the repeaters and things have returned to normal. But keep an eye out and report the issue to Don W7OXR if it happens again .
